Talent Ocean

Problem

Global creator tools price in USD, skip local wallets, and force a stack of apps. Bangladeshi creators needed one page, local checkout, and modules they can turn on as they grow (shop, courses, Circle, Fan Gate) without leaving the country for payouts.

Approach

Talent Ocean is a creator monetization platform built for Bangladesh. Each creator gets one public page to sell digital products, publish courses, take consultations, run live requests, and receive gifts. Fans pay with bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or cards through SSLCommerz. Creators withdraw in BDT to mobile wallets or bank. The marketing site leads with a circular creator orbit (“Monetize your talent from one simple page”), then a live Hall of Champions leaderboard ranked by supporters, Circle subscribers, and total support received. I built a multi-tenant SaaS around a single creator slug. Modules (shop, courses, consultation, live requests, posts, Circle, Fan Gate, page design) can be enabled independently. Payments go through SSLCommerz; payouts are BDT to bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or bank. The public surface includes a ranked creator leaderboard and gift flows (e.g. ৳100 support with optional message). Live at talentocean.xyz. Built in collaboration with A. S. M. Asif Islam (asmasif.com), who led the engagement; I worked on the build alongside him.

Impact

One creator page: A unique slug with cover, bio, socials, and a gift/support checkout. Shop, courses, and bookings live on the same URL. Local BDT payments: SSLCommerz gateway with bKash, Nagad, Rocket, and cards. Creators withdraw to wallets or bank. Modular creator tools: Shop, courses, consultation, live requests, posts, Circle (members-only feed), Fan Gate, and page design, switched on as they grow. Hall of Champions: Live leaderboard of top creators ranked by supporters, Circle subscribers, and total support raised.
